Our top priority will always be the health and safety of our staff, clients and community. The guidelines put forward by AHS and the Alberta government regarding the safety measures to be taken by our industry are clear and reasonable to implement. The salon experience will definitely be different than before COVID-19 but we will endeavour to make it feel as relaxing and enjoyable as possible!

HOW WILL APPOINTMENTS BE SCHEDULED?

We have been scheduling all appointments over the phone to maximize efficiency and minimize wait times. This has also ensured that we had enough time between clients for proper disinfection procedures.

Now that we have gotten through the back log of clients that had their appointments cancelled during the shutdown, we are available to offer appointments to everyone.

IMPORTANT CANCELLATION POLICIES

IF YOU MUST CANCEL DUE TO ILLNESS: You will not be charged a cancellation fee.

IF YOU ARRIVE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT AND MUST BE TURNED AWAY DUE TO VISIBLE SIGNS OF ILLNESS: You will be charged a $50 fee that will be added onto your next appointment.

IF YOU DO NOT SHOW UP FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT: You will be charged 50% of your missed appointment’s total that will be added onto your next appointment.

HERE ARE SOME OF THE SAFETY MEASURES WE WILL HAVE IN PLACE WHEN WE REOPEN:

STANDARD GUIDELINES FOR THE SALON INDUSTRY:

>We sanitize our hairbrushes and scissors after each client.

>We disinfect our combs, scissors and guards in Barbicide.

>We wash client capes after each use.

>We wash shampoo bowls after each client, now with disinfecting cleaners.

>We mop the floors regularly with a bleach solution.

ADDITIONAL SAFETY MEASURES FOR COVID-19

>Clients will be asked to wait in their vehicles until you are called in when your stylist is ready for you.

>Clients will be required to clean their hands when they enter the salon, prior to services.

>We are checking in with staff daily to ensure they are health and well and require all clients to confirm the same.

>Both clients and stylists are required to wear face masks. (salon will provide a disposable masks to clients)

>We will have plastic barriers between all stations and shampoo bowls.

>We will only service one client at a time per stylist. No double booking.

>We will be allowing 30 minutes between each appointment to disinfect our station, chair and tools for the next appointment.

>We wash our stylist aprons after every client.

>We disinfect our reception desk after every transaction and all high touch points at regular intervals throughout the day.

>We will not be accepting cash payments; e-transfer, debit and credit cards only.
